Solutions

Depending on the problem, we can treat diverse and complex dental conditions by using crowns, veneers, complete dentures or removable partial dentures.

What is a crown?

A crown is a cap used when a tooth is cracked or decay. This "cap" is made-up of special materials that restores strength, beauty, translucency and feel of a natural tooth.

What is a bridge?

A bridge is a prosthesis used in place of missing teeth and may be removable or permanently attached.

A typical removable bridge will contain a simulated tooth and wire hooks that grip the adjoining teeth.

A typical permanent bridge will span a missing tooth by removing the original surface the adjacent teeth and cementing to them a common crown shaped to the original surfaces of the two mounting teeth and the missing tooth between.

What is a veneer?

A veneer is a high tech layer of super strong porcelain that is bonded over the front of your teeth and becomes part of the tooth. Veneers are used to improve the shape and appearance of teeth, to close gaps between teeth and to hide discolorations. In some cases, for optimal esthetics, more than one tooth may need veneers.

What are complete dentures?

Complete dentures are man made replacements when all of the natural teeth in the upper or lower jaw, or both are missing. Full dentures are placed on the soft (gum) tissue in the mouth over the bone ridge. With complete dentures we recover the lost sopport of the face, restore clear speech and enhance your appearance.

What is removable partial dentures?

Removable partial bridgework can be used in certain cases when there are still enough key natural teeth remaining in the mouth. Partial bridgework is removable by the patient, which makes cleaning the teeth and partial bridge easier.

The prosthetic teeth on partial bridgework can look very natural and are made from high impact dental materials. Partial dentures usually incorporate special attachments to help hold them in place. Removable partial dentures rest on the teeth and soft gum tissues for support. This usually allows the patient the opportunity to choose a variety of treatment options.
